Rules in macOS (10.13.4) mail...
Rules in macOS (10.13.4) mail (11.3) do not save. They seem to work after I create them until I quit mail. When I restart the app, the rules are no longer there. I suspect this has been a problem for some time. I was suspicious that new conditions in an already existing rule wasn't saved (because emails were not being filtered from the company I was sure I'd added) and this has led me to create a new rule that led to the discovery. Also deleted rules return.

Do you mean Mail does not SEND? Or, does not SAVE as in draft? Please clarify. Thanks.

No, when I set up a rule in preferences for filtering/sorting incoming messages the rules do not persist after I quit mail and relaunch it. Individual emails send and save in drafts just fine.

If so, two steps:

1. Update your system from 10.13.4 to 10.13.13. macOS HS is a bit buggy on most system older than 3 years. Heaps of bugs reported after macOS 11.13 released.

2. If the problem persists after upgraded to 10.13.13, a remote session is required.
