I’ve received an email which to me is highly suspect,

Technician's Assistant: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?

Ive received an email which to me is highly suspect.

Technician's Assistant: How do you usually access your email? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

I check and manage most mail via my iPad , I frequently use a webmail app to clear out the spams and trash before downloading the ok’d emails.

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

This email purports to be from Apple stating that I should update my UID and credentials , otherwise I may be permanently locked out of my account.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?
