I have an Verizon.net...

I have an Verizon.net email on AOL. My Samsung S5 is unable to safely connect t the server. The error states unable to set up account. The phone stopped syncing on 1/22/2018.

Technician's Assistant: How do you usually access AOL? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

I have my email on my computer and on my phone.My phone was set up by AT&T tech when I purchased the phone several years ago.

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

I have tried t reentering my PW and the phone will not sysc up. I can send email and all reuired settings are as stated per AOL instructions.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

  1. Are you still able to access your AOL account using your computer's web browser? If yes, can you please confirm if ALL of your emails there are intact?
  2. Is your email account setup as IMAP on your phone? Or POP?

My email account is active and all emails are intact.I am able t send and receive email o my computer. I am using POP on my phone.
