I have two lenovo...

I have two lenovo laptops and I can't send emails from either of them I can receive emails though.

Technician's Assistant: Are emails stuck in your outbox or are you receiving an error message?

I also have an Ipad and an Android smartphone that I can send emails from.

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from sending mail?

No, I just gat an rror message that email can't be sent at this time. Try again later. Sometimes the email is put into the Drafts folder.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

My wife uses the same laptop and same email server with no problems, so it must be my profile or something unique to only my account

go to file > account settings > account settings > change > what is outgoing server?

don't find that exact path, but
POP setting is pop-mail.outlook.com, port 995
imap setting is imap-mail.outlook.com, port 993
smtp setting is smtp-mail.outlook.com, port 587
