Good morning. I can't get my e-mail to work properly. Messages are not coming in or out. I have the right name and a new password ***** said it went through. Thank you.

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking your email from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

I'm somewhat clueless about technical things. Apologies. I have e-mail through Spectrum. Earthlink account since 2001.

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

Not that I'm aware of. Briefly, this morning, mail came into my in-box. Nothing goes out. Everything was OK yesterday morning.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

No. I'd just be very happy to be connected. The new password ***** put in is OK. Thank you.
