I can't get mail on my phone, because I can't get iCloud set up. I need to delete a mac.com account.

Let’s work on this first: long ago I misspelled my name on an account. I put ditothywells at iCloud.com. It says I can’t delete this account and to go to Facebook and iMessage, which I did with no good results.

I can unlock it by answering my security questions, but I don’t remember the answers. It will send me an email, but it goes to mac.com email, which I can’t acccess.
