Thunderbird has been fine for years, but lately it will only send email once in a while. Usually it says it is connected, but times out without sending. I installed Avast antivirus last year, but the failure to send is much more recent than that.
JA: What Operating System (OS) are you running on your computer or device?
Customer: Windows ten
JA: When did you last update your AntiVirus?
Customer: It does it automatically--don't know
JA: Anything else you want the Software Expert to know before I connect you?
