Outlook - I can see calendar, mail and addresses, but will not update mail. Error "data file cannot be accessed". Running scanpst.exe has not solved

Windows 10

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update your Outlook?

Was freshly installed from backup partition after recovery. However same issue is on second computer

Please try below steps:

1. Back up existing PST file and keep the backup safe in another folder.

2. Add a new Outlook profile with the same mailbox. A new Outlook OST or PST file will be created for this profile

3. Open the old PST file and see if you open and recover data from it. If not, you need to use some 3rd-party utilities to fix the file.
