I have received this notice regarding one of my gmail

I have received this...

I have received this notice regarding one of my gmail accounts . "Authentication error: Mail from this has not been retrieved since 12/12/2017" in gmail? I cannot seem to be able to find out why. I have signed into my gmail account and there is no specific mention of why these emails have been stopped and continue so. What can I do, please?

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking Gmail from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

Internet fine. Mail is from gmail.

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

Possibly but have had mail through this account until that date. Still getting normal mail through gmail A/c and another account through gmail.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?
