I have Outlook 2010...

I have Outlook 2010 on my PC. I can not get it to sync with my calendar and contacts on my iphone & ipad. I've spent hours and have resorted to seeking help.

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking Outlook from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

Outlook from a purchased disk years ago...

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

No. I get the email on the pc just fine.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

Simply, I want to sync my phone & ipad with Outlook mail, contacts and calendar.

A. Sync your Outlook calendar with your iOS device:

B. Sync iPhone Contacts to Outlook 2010

  1. Connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your computer using the cable provided with your device or by placing the iPhone or iPod touch in the Apple Universal Dock.

    iTunes opens automatically when connected to your computer.

  2. In iTunes, in the source list, under Devices, click the entry for your iPhone or iPod touch.

  3. Click the Info tab.

  4. Under Calendars, click Sync calendars from, and then click Outlook.

  5. Do one of the following:

    • To synchronize all calendars, click All calendars.

    • To limit the calendars that are synchronized, click Selected calendars, and then click the calendars you want to synchronize.

      Note: To select multiple calendars, press Ctrl as you click each calendar name.

  6. Click Apply.

1. Connect the iPhone to the computer using the supplied USB cable and launch the iTunes application.

2. Click your iPhone on the iTunes panel and click the "Info" tab. Click "Sync contacts with" and select"Outlook."

3. Select "All Contacts" if you want to sync all the contacts from your iPhone to Outlook. If you want to select specific contacts, click "Selected groups" and place a check on the contacts you want to sync to Outlook.

4. Click "Apply" to sync your iPhone contacts to Outlook. Click the "Eject" button on the right panel and disconnect your phone from the computer. Close iTunes.

5. Launch Outlook and click the "Contacts" tab. You should see the imported iPhone contacts.
