It's actually not about my PC. But it's about a Microsoft Exchange Activesync on my Android Galaxy S7.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your Galaxy? What have you tried so far?

I have deleted all of my contacts from my company's exchange server account (NOT a regular Outlook account) account registered to sync with my Galaxy. As I was trying to find a way to restore, I tried to sync the contacts back into the phone by going to Setting, Account, then sync. But the contacts are not restoring back to the phone. Is there a way for me to have the contacts recovered from Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync?

This is not a regular email and contacts are not emails only. Contacts contained phone numbers as well.

Your need to make sure sync is enabled for both contacts and calendars, do the following:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Accounts and Sync.
  3. Tap on the Exchange account.
  4. In the Data and synchronization settings (Figure A), make sure everything is checked.
  5. Tap Sync Now.

I have tried this multiple times but it won't bring back as it as before the accidentally deletion after synching like suggested.

If so, is it possible for you to test two more things, to test if server side settings are changed or not.

1. Another Android device to sync with the same Exchange server.

2. Another OS, such as iOS to sync with the same Exchange server.

I do not have any iOS OS available but with another Android device, it only brings emails but not the contacts that were saved under Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync but accidentally deleted.

This does indicate something wrong at the server side (settings). Are you able to login at the Exchange account via web?
