My son bought me a new Lenovo computer at Best Buy and I have a roadrunner email. most things are working but I can't find any of my contacts. How do I get them back?

Technician's Assistant: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?

Roadrunner cable, through outlook?

Technician's Assistant: How do you usually access Outlook? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

Through a web browser. My email address is***@******.***. It's a POP3 server?

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

I don't know what to try. I just can't find any contacts at all.

Your contacts being lost can mean many things depending on 'how/where' you are accessing that rr email.

To get started, I need to know what type of computer you are using, a Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 ?

How do you usually access your email? Email client such as windows live, (built in email app

on the computer itself that looks like an envelope) Thunderbird? Using a regular browser such

as Firefox/Internet Explorer/Chrome etc?

Windows 10 on new Lenovo computer. I used to access my mail from Windows Live- it just came up with my cable (spectrum) roadrunner address.***@******.***

What message is it saying on that email client when you try to log in now?

Please go to a web browser and log into your road runner email. Not your client/mail.

Tell me if your contacts are inside of the server still before we address your mail client.
