Not getting new e-mail...

Not getting new e-mail. when I open the inbox there is a message that says 'working off line". How do I get it back on line.

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking your email from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

Internet connection is fine; I am getting new messages fine on my web-mail account with Century Link but new messages stopped coming thru in outlook

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

I don't think so. I didn't change any antivirus or firewall settings before the problem startedd
