I have 5 different...

I have 5 different email addresses. I use Thunderbird to read them all. One of the 5 has stopped receiving new messages.

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking your email from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

I am using the same internet connection to read messages for the other email accounts.

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

Again the other accounts are using the same PC and the same settings for the antivirus apps.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

I am able to read messages for this account using my smart phone and my tablet. I have checked the account settings for this failing account against the settings for the other 4 accounts that work, and they are the same.

go to tools > options > security > saved passwords > remove password ***** the account

close Thunderbird > open and check for new email. It should prompt you to enter password ***** is email coming in now?
