When I try to...

When I try to send and email from any of my Windstream.net email accounts I get the following error

Technician's Assistant: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?

"missing or malformed literal in APPEND" What does that mean? and how can i fix it so i can send emails from Thunderbird?

Technician's Assistant: The Email Technician will be able to walk you through that. How do you usually access your email? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

Acutaly i use Thunderbird for email, or have up to now - i have no idea where to start troubleshooting

Yes - if i access my Windstream email account directly through a web browser i can send emails no problem - i can send emails using Thunderbird through my gmail account - so i think the problem is in the interface between Thunderbird and my Windstream.net email account

for outgoing settings do you have these?

smtp.windstream.net

port 465 with SSL

The outgoing server is smtp.windstream.net
but I don't know where to look for the port #

right click your account > settings > smtp or outgoing on very bottom
