For almost four weeks...

For almost four weeks i have not been able to receive my email. I have tried every possible password ***** could think of to no avail.

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking your email from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

Internet is ok (sortof) Am checking email through Entourage.

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

My firewall is always up. No antivirus came with my IMac, they said i didn't need it. Ha!

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

I'm not the most adept user, but have had this Mac for ten years.

The one i gave you before is my husband's since mine doesn't work.

Do you mean you are no longer able to receive Comcast email using your Entourage on Mac?

Are you able to log on Comcast webmail portal to check emails online via web using a browser (not Entourage)?

I don't receive my emails from Entourage on Mac.
I know nothing about being able to receive emails through Comcast.

Probably. They do not accept any password ***** give and they say my security settings may be incorrect. (6)
The server returned the error 5.7.0. I didn't do anything to make all this happen.

Okay, I first give you correct email settings for Comcast including server name, protocols and ports, then please double check it on with your Entourage.

If everything is correct and we will need a remote desktop session so I can review Comcast server settings for you, then enable two-step verification if necessary to make sure you can receive emails using Entourage.

Literally it is for Windows Live Mail, but technically the required settings can be used fro Entourage.
