I opened a months long email exchange (via Etsy conversations) with the owner, a woman named Pooja Srivastava @fabricsoindia resulting in an arrangement to have her company sew me a batch of custom shirts.m Unwittingly, I made payment directly to her company using my Paypal account, without knowing or understanding that I should have handled the transaction through Etsy. Almost from the beginning, I experienced difficulty dealing with the seller. she made many promises gave me many deadlines but has broken her word every time. I was supposed to receive l the merchandise before Christmas. By February 13, I have received nothing but more excuses. I have asked her to refund my payment or send me what I paid for. She has done neither. Etsy has refused to help me because out of ignorance I accepted the sellers invitation to pay her directly with Paypal. I should not have waited so long to take action. However, I was encouraged by Etsy to continue working with the seller, which I did. Etsy should have told me in the beginning to go directly to you, rather than tell me to keep working with a person who has no intention of sending me the shirts or refunding my money. Then final straw occurred on February 10th when she sent me a HL tracking #. Believing the package was finally on its way, I began tracki9ng the movement. when no movement was noted I called DHL today to wonder what was happening. I was surprised to hear, that the shipper called DHL too say she was going to send a box to me, received a tracking number but never submitted the parcel for shipment. After all this time I realize this lady has been jerking around. My only recourse is to ask Paypal to cancel the sale and process a refund of my payment.
