Technician's Assistant: How do you usually access your email? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

Web browser, I think; I do nothing over a phone or tablet.

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

None, I guess, but I just changed to the newly given address, with cox, although I do not normally use cox.net as email; just gmail.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

Nothing; but the reason I give for getting rid of the long address, is that my wife complains. I also am getting some emails from England and I think it is spam, from a Robert Duval.

To create a new gmail account you just need to sign up at the following page: https://accounts.google.com/SignUp?hl=en

You do not have to delete your old account or anything you can create as many gmail accounts as you would like. Just go to the link I gave you and fill in the required information to create your new account.
