I am trying to create a new account. I had an old one tied to an old e mail address. I cannot create a new one

Because I haven't used skype for two years, I have a new email address and a phone number tied to a work account, the system is getting confused, as am I, and can't verify my information. Skype doesn't recognize my new email address
