I cannot see the...

I cannot see the text of my old messages in my inbox. When I checked the community forum, the first response I saw said to delete the inbox.msf file from my profile, and that the index would be rebuilt when I reopened Firefox. No such luck. Now, even the list of my old messages has disappeared. How do I get them back? They are necessary.

Technician's Assistant: How's your internet connection? Are you checking your email from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?

Connection is fine. I'm checking email via Thunderbird.

Technician's Assistant: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?

No. TB was fine this morning. This is a new development.

We can work on this problem without the remote connection, if you wish. I just offered it as a favor because most people prefer using that option.

Please, follow the instructions below to solve your problem:
- Hold both of the two following keys at the same time: Windows Key and the letter R key
- In the box that comes up, type the following and click OK: rstrui
- Choose to Restore to an earlier time > Click Next.
- Choose a date at least one week before you started experiencing your problem.
- Click NEXT > NEXT > NEXT.

Once you do that, what are the results?
