I inadvertently sent and email that I need to recall. How can I do that?

Technician's Assistant: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?

Gmail

Technician's Assistant: How do you usually access Gmail? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

This was from my laptop computer, so web browser?

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

I tried the online method which told me to change my settings so I can recall an email within a set amount of time (10,20or 30 seconds) but the email had already gone.

Yes, if you recall it within the 30 seconds timeframe or if you are using an Exchange server (normally through your work)
