I have a hotmail account. I am getting all kinds of spam. I keep marking it as junk, but it keeps coming

Technician's Assistant: How do you usually access Hotmail? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

On my iPad.

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

None. I am not sure how to start. I recently update to 11,hoping that would help, but no change.
