Can´t access my account on new phone.Received Microsoft

can´t access my account on...
can´t access my account on new phone.Received Microsoft e-mail asking for confirmation of home telephone for identity purposes and I would be sent a code number by phone.Received call but due to hearing impairment and the speed of call in Spanish neither my wife or I can understand the number.Is ther any other way i.e. e-mail ,that I can prove my identity and receive/send on my new mobile?
