Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your Hotmail account? What troubleshooting have you tried?

I made a new address***@******.***. so every time I try to go my old address it sends me to the new one

I created the new one so i could retrieve my password ***** i forgot. the reason being my desktop computer crashed and i needed a new hard drive so i am having to reload everthing.
