I have Skype but when I try to use it I am asked for a code, my email address and my phone number and I don't know what they mean by code. What should I do?

Today is the first day that I have tried to use my Skype in 10 days

I have an Apple computer. I haven't used my Skype app for over a week. I believe that my user name is ***** ***** and last name. I have had the same email for several years
