Verizon decided to get out of the email business.

Technician's Assistant: Just to clarify, what email service provider are you using?

I have moved my company's Go Daddy account to Gmail , but I can't get my Outlook account to Gmail. Please advise.

Technician's Assistant: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

Phone first, laptop second.

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

None. I have no computer skills and my company doesn't have an IT person.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

I think my phone has been hacked. I'm getting and apparently sending weird emails.

Right now my Outlook doesn't send or recieve emails.
I was hoping moving it to Gmail would make it work.

Right now I cannot send or receive messages in my Outlook account.
Before the change by Verizon, I could receive emails , but not send them.
Some kind of a problem between Go Daddy and Verizon.
Hi Daddy blamed Verizon, Verizon blamed Go Daddy.
I’m hoping, by moving everything to Gmail I’ll be able to send and receive email in Outlook.

what is the part after the @ symbol of your outlook address?
GoDaddy and Verizon aren't linked, so i am not sure why you're not able to send because both are independent unless you configured verizon in Outlook for sending and receiving?

I believe we did use Verizon for sending and receiving.

Do you see your e-mails in Outlook?
I know that Verizon moved everything to AOL.

So we can either import from AOL into Gmail or configure Gmail on Outlook and move to it.

But i need to know if you can see your emails on Outlook and if you tried accessing your Verizon account on AOL?
Verizon sent email to all customers with the sign up link i guess.

I did not move to AOL.
I probably should have, I thought Gmail was a better idea and it would resolve my Outlook problems.
I can see my emails from before the change but nothing since the change.
I get my emails from my company's web site on GoDaddy

Yes, those two are un-related.

GoDaddy and your company is different.

Verizon should have moved you automatically and all the new emails should be in AOL.

Can you try logging into mail.aol.com through a web browser using your verizon email address and password?
