Hi there my name is ***** ***** I cannot send emails yesterday or today. Please help?

Technician's Assistant: Just to clarify, what email service provider are you using?

I am using a service provider called MWEB in South Africa, I have called them but as my internet is working they cannot help with my emails because I have gmail accounts

Technician's Assistant: Have you installed any updates recently?

Google or gmail updates? No

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?

No...just I receive emails but they won't send

A program will start downloading to your computer (it does not open a webpage, but the file will start downloading to your computer).

Run the program and it shows you and ID and Password.

Give me the ID and Password ***** please so I can connect

Do not close the program but leave it open else I will not be able to connect

We need to continue here

Power off the mac

Then start the Mac and hold down the Command and R keys at startup.

Hold these keys until the Apple logo appears. After your computer finishes starting up, you should see a desktop with an OS X menu bar and an OS X Utilities window

choose Disk Utility from the Utilities window, or from the Installer menu if you're started from an installation disc.

Click the First Aid tab.

Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.

Select your Startup Disk (usually named "Macintosh HD").

Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk.

Let this complete and when it has, tell me if you still have the problem please.

Click the first mailbox, then click on Mailbox, Rebuild

Do the same for the second one.

Once done, restart and tell me if it then sends please.

I don't understand....I have them called Google 1 and Google 2 those are my 2 email addresses inboxes.
So I don't know where I must find the ones to click on? in the mail window or google.com window?

This message constantly comes up. I don't have an AOL acount anymore. Would this be a problem?

Yes it would, go to the apple logo top left, then click on System Preferences, then iCLoud

I do. But I can't delete it cause it will delete all my filled emails, which are thousands filed in files under AOL
