My server (Time Warner...

My server (Time Warner Cable) changed it's server setting from a pop server to IMAP and now the incoming and outgoing setting is: mail.twc.com

Technician's Assistant: Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)?

The issue is how to change the port setting numbers, which are different from original.

Technician's Assistant: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

I use Outlook for email.

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

Under email setting we have tried repairs, but the Time Warner Cable tech couldn't direct me to the place to change the port (number) setting for incoming and outgoing.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

I am constantly getting prompt box to "save" server, user & password. incoming mail seems to work, out going doesn't; but I can't use the email because of the prompt box.

When you wish to change the server settings from POP3 to IMAP, it is not a simple task. The server names and ports cannot simply be changed. You must setup the IMAP protocol in a new profile or add as a new account. May I connect with you remotely to troubleshoot the issue directly?
