First we were getting...

First we were getting all kinds of gmails for Lawrence from Humana Pharmacy and my husband has never had been called anything but Larry. Today we got an e-receipt for an item from England. All I can figure out is that OUR email a dress is***@******.***. Their email appears to be the same but without the . between larry and claudia. No two addresses should have allowed to be created that are so similar.

We've had our email since 1999. It has been a problem for several months regarding Humana Pharmacy. I have called them several times and finally reported it yo the Better Business Bureau in Cincinnati. Just Tuesday we got the e-receipt for some car polish paid for in pounds.

Nothing other than what Ican wrote earlier.

Periods are allowed in email addresses.

As for whether the emails you get, e.g. from Humana Pharmacy, that are addressed to

"larryclaudia" and so forth... try sending yourself an email, addressed to "[email protected]"[etc.] from your (larry.claudia [etc.] ) account. See if it comes back to the same account within a half minute! if so, then the two addresses are identical as far as email systems are concerned. If not - and I suspect that's how it will go - then the address with dot and without dot are not ignoring the dot in the one address.

In which case, if the dot-containing address is really different, as far as such an email delivery test is concerned, then you are getting faked or forged emails. Are you turning On your Spam filter?
