All of a sudden I cannot add an appointment to my Outlook

All of a sudden I cannot add an appointment to my Outlook 2010 running on Windows 10. When I go to save, the response is a window that says "Not implemented". Somehow, I've dropped or corrupted a file or files. How do I repair?
JA: How long has this been an issue?
Customer: Only since I turned on my computer after Hurricane Harvey. It's likely some auto update caused the problem; but, that is a guess. Since last Sunday
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: most often by web browser "EarthLink", then by smartphone. Prior to the Harvey shutdown, I had no problems.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: None. I don't know what to do.
JA: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I can think of.
