Did you double delete the email (deleted from Inbox then deleted again in Trash)?

No. May have shut down system. Can not recall.

Time limited. Will deal with it later this afternoon. Thanks.

Shutting down your local computer has nothing to do with the emails stored on Yahoo side, it can't delete anything remotely on Yahoo servers.

Okay, you are lucky that you are with Yahoo, one of a few vendors which can restore permanently deleted emails though conditions apply. As the emails were deleted a few days ago, within 7 days, you are allowed to request restoring your mailbox to the time point of a few days ago when your emails were still there in the inbox. Please be aware that this is not to undelete specific emails, the while mailbox intead. Hence any new emails after the restore point will be gone. Please consider carefully before submitting the request. Please check below link to start your request and learn more details, conditions and restrictions.https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN2552.html
