For several days, I have not been able to successfully send

Customer Question

For several days, I have not been able to successfully send any emails through my laptop via Outlook. The ones I send via other devices (iPhone & iPad) are sent with no issues. Also, I am able to recieve emails without apparent issues.
JA: How long has this been an issue?
Customer: I just noticed it Sunday. But I see there were emails I thought were sent starting last wednesday, that never went out. They do not show up in my sent folder. Also, I have downloaded the most recent updates this morning, but that did not fix the problem.
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: On all three devices about equally. (MacBookPro, iPad, iPhone)
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have tried to send test emails to both my email accounts (Outlook & Yahoo) from all devices. The phone and iPad transmit successfully. But not the laptop.
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I'd like to know if this might be an Outlook issue or if maybe I have a virus infection.

Do you mean Microsoft Outlook of Office, not outlook.com. Correct?

When I attempt to send email from my outlook account (Outlook.com) from my laptop, they haven't been sending. There is no record in sent folders or anywhere else. When I send email from outher devices (iPad & iPhone) they go through without issue.

Via web at outlook.com? OR, using Microsoft Outlook program to send an message from email address @ outlook.com?
