I'm running Win 10, with Thunderbird and am finding my

I'm running Win 10, with Thunderbird and am finding my inward emails are not coming into my Inward screen, they are not under any other heading, draft, trash, etc. I usually receive up to 35-40 per day, and have not changed any settings on my system. What do I do?
JA: Just to clarify, what email service provider are you using?
Customer: As far as I know Vodafone is my communications company.
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: On my laptop do not have others set up for this
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Have looked through Thunderbirds help area
