My google g mail account has been disconnected, and I cannot

Customer Question

My google g mail account has been disconnected, and I cannot retrieve it. Please advise how I can retrieve my mail. Disconnect occurred sometime around June 6th. Thank you.
JA: How's your internet connection? Are you checking Gmail from a browser or a mail client (e.g. Outlook)?
Customer: My husband can get his g mail account which is a different address. I cannot. Received message such as analysis of application protocols (HTTA,POP3,IMAP) will not function. Also, Windows Defender causes freezing issues after installation/update of ESET security products.
JA: Are there any antivirus or firewall settings that could block you from receiving mail?
Customer: Not that I am aware of. Windows 10 performed an update earlier this month, and perhaps something went wrong then.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Also received message such as IP address 23215104.98 and Error Code Inet_E_ Download_ FAILURE AND pROTOCOL FILTERING PROBLEM
