I have gmail on my laptop with a certain gmail address and password. I opened the account in March. Two days ago I bought a top-model cell phone and have been going not so quietly crazy ever since trying to access gmail on it. When I try to go to my gmail account I get a "wrong gmail address. hen I get to a screen that asks for my password, I get a screen back that says wrong password. So I try each of the 3 passwords I may use on ANY site for sign-in. I got screens for each that they were incorrect. I try again and I get the message that I changed my password ***** days ago. OK, but I would only have changed it to one of the two remaining. So I click Forgot Password ***** go to a screen that asks e to enter a phone number associated with my account, specifically one ending in -53. Hmm. That is a phone number I had for two years up until three years ago. No longer my phone number. I try to put in my new cell phone number and it is of course rejected. I cannot use Gmail or Google home page portal (which I am signed into and using on my laptop), or of course the Win10 Chrome browser because it runs through Google. Get the picture? I can't acces any of these features on my cell phone (incl. my Amazon Prime Music stream) and I am blocked from fixing the problem myself in every way imaginable from your end. What are you prepared to do to resolve the problem(s)?

I have never had the slightest problem on my laptop with my Google/gmail accounts. I have had nothing but these problems since I bought my new cell phone two days ago and began trying to access Google stuff.

Technician's Assistant: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

Try to read along with my messages. I have stated several times I have Gmail on my laptop and I use it often and it works perfectly. I have used it several times today before I started reaching out to you.

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

I have tried to access my Gmail and Google account with the same information I have successfully used on my laptop versions. As I said in my first message, nothing has worked to resolve these problems.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?

Just provide him with my account of what I have tried to fix these problems so I don't to go all through it again.
