I use eudora for my email program and I have a dsl server and earthlink account
JA: Just to clarify, what email service provider are you using for this account?
Customer: lately been having problems with sending thru eudora not receiving
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: it has happened periodically for a long time now when I use webmail thru earthlink i can send but for some reason lately I cannot send through eudora but I can receive

No error message its only sending that I have the problem with and when I go to the sent column it shows that the email was sent - i contacted earthlink they stated no problem with their end - and that is proven out as I can send thru earthlink webmail
