When I want to...

When I want to bring in new email, I get a popup message about needing a certificate and something being cancelled. It says I'm about to override how thunderbird identifies this site.

Technician's Assistant: Just to clarify, what email service provider are you using?

I'm using mozilla.

Technician's Assistant: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?

I have an HP notebook. My husband set up the system years ago, he's gone now, and I'm a bit of a technical novice. I just click on the email icon and it opens the email window.

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

I don't know what to try. Clicking on the 'view' line of the message tells me that the exception certificate has expired, whatever that is.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?

Hi ***** reread the message and it seems to be from Symantic. Do they have a contract with you for yearly security? and do I have to call them?

Hi again, when I didn't receive a response from you I stepped away from my computer. I'm not replying on my phone.
