Gmail is mapped to Thunderbird. Oddly, a few gmails are not

Customer Question

Gmail is mapped to Thunderbird. Oddly, a few gmails are not coming over to TBird. How to troubleshoot?
JA: How long have you had this issue with your Gmail account?
Customer: I don't know, I just called someone who I thought had not responded to my message, and was embarrassed when he said he did. Sure enough, it has been sitting in gmail since 12/28.
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: On my pc. I have the TBird client installed.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: None. I figured that if other emails are passing thru, the setups must be ok. Seems reasonable assumption.
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I don't think so. Thanks

Is it going to cost more for you to connect remotely?
Expert:  Cory replied 7 months ago.

Yes, you pay for a chat based question.

Remote service is an additional fee, as it is a premium service where I can connect and fix quickly instead of possibly spending a great amount of troubleshooting in text.

Can we fix this issue with Thunderbird and Gmail?
