Customer Question

I cannot open the web links in the Address Book in the Thunderbird Email. I have Windows 7, Firefox browser 50. I do not have any other devices. This is my desktop unit. The question is, do I need a search engine downloaded and installed in the Thunderbird?
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: The DELL Intel is a used model that I picked up 3 years ago from my local computer tech. I've been in quite a few models since 1991.
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: Through the browser in my desktop Dell.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I haven't found any so far.
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I am broke until January 2, 2017. As I understand it, there's a $5 fee to open this and then there is a $35 =/- fee when done

Hi and thank you for your question.

Just to clarify, what exactly happens when you try to open up the links from Thunderbird? Do you get any error, or do they just not open on your browser?
