I just got Thunderbird. A new update is available but my computer says I don't have the authority to download. How do I get around that?
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your machine, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: It's a MacBook Air, 13 inch, mid 2012, 1.8 GHz Pentel i5
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: I have an icon on the bar. The computer is the only device I use Thunderbird on.
