Unfortunately, Google requires more information from you, specially the creation date of the Gmail account to prove your ownership of the said account. Without remembering the information, or if you cannot recall the actual password ***** changed to, you will never be able to access this Gmail account again.
This happens because you did not add a recovery or alternate email on your account which works in tandem with a recovery mobile phone number. These two (2) information are the best verification options for Gmail to prove account ownership. In your case, though your mobile phone is working, the lack of other security information prevents finally verifying your ownership of the account.
Please try to recall what is the NEW password ***** you created as it is the only chance to regain access of the account. Otherwise, when you are unable to access it for more than 3 months, the said Gmail account will be deactivated automatically by Google and it cannot be re-created at any time.
I am very sorry if this is not the answer you wish to hear and I hate to be the bearer of this bad news.
