Two weeks I areceived no E mai;s then after calling comcast

two weeks I areceived no E mai;s then after calling comcast three times I received 14000 e mails, some from last year. How do I delete them. I think there are 400 current ones with them, unread.
JA: Just to clarify, what email service provider are you using?
Customer: Coomcast
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: web browser Firefox
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have tried highliting a whole page of them then pushing the delete button but I don/t know if its working there are so many
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: After I deleted some with the above message, the trash was full and it wouldn't do any more. I did not know how to empty the trash
