i'm disabled and a vry sloe typist. I keep forgetting password ***** my gmail account. I'm having trouble with their chat support, eg. they keep quiting on me while i i'm trying to answer their questions.
JA: How long have you had this issue with your Gmail account?
Customer: most recently from Wed of this week until yesterday
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: i use my macpro mostly, but i use a ipad and iphone also
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: i must have confused their user id and user names. so far, i 've tried using their normal passworf rest. the more iuse it the more confused i gt. is thereaway i can keep their attention longer so i can ask some questions as we go onn in troublshooting. that's why i was hoping to get a phone number to call
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?

Have you been able to access your GMail account since last Wednesday?

And, what is your confusion about 'user ID' versus 'User name' ? ideally they should really be one and the same, I would think - and I have used a GMail account myself, so I do know about it.

What computer do you use, please? or do you use a tablet, mostly, for accessing GMail? ----what I mean is: What device are you using, when the problems occur? is it just any of them? or a particular one?
