We are consistently getting junk emails from a regular group. It has been suggested to us that we change our email password, will that help? How to we do that?
JA: When did you last reset your username and password?
Customer: We had the computer set up for us, and don't remember him asking us for a password, eighteen months ago. If I reset my username, does that not mean I have to change my email address?
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: Not a phone or tablet, just Mozilla thunderbird on our PC.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: we've trained Thunderbird to recognize the Junk, we've gone through our Setup Settings, for handling Junk, have tried Unsubscribing several of the repeat Junk emails. Would changing our email Password *****?
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: We can no longer delete any emails using the Delete options. We have to click and drag to the Trash.
