Customer Question

Pearl, I gave my daughter a Apple I-pad Air 2 along with a Logitech case with keyboard. Nothing comes with instructions anymore and you're dealing with a senior citizen who is not a tech whiz. Can you tell me if the Logitech keyboard automatically connects to the I-pad so you have use of the keyboard? All I get is a flashing blue light and don't have access to the keyboard.
JA: What's the make and model of your computer? And have you had problems with this keyboard in the past?
Customer: Hand on a minute, I have to get the info for you. It's an Apple iPad Air 2.
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: Web browser.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I've tried everything I can think of which really isn't much and right now I am charging the Logitech.
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Can't think of anything else to ask.

Hi ,

My name is***** am sorry to hear that you are having this issue.

I will be glad to assist you with this.

Follow these steps please>

  1. Tap the Settings icon on your iPad.

  2. In Settings, tap Bluetooth.

  3. If the on-screen switch next to Bluetooth doesn't currently show as ON, tap once to enable it.

  4. Move the power switch on your keyboard to ON.

  5. Press the Connect button on the back of the keyboard.

The Bluetooth LED should start blinking.

The keyboard should shortly become visible on the iPad screen.

  6. Tap once on the name of the device you want to pair.

  7. If prompted, type the PIN code shown on-screen, and then press Enter. If you're not prompted for a code, the keyboard should immediately pair and you can skip this step.

NOTE: Each connect code is randomly generated. Make sure you enter the one shown on your iPad screen.

  8. Once you press Enter (if required), the word Connected should show beside your keyboard in the Devices list.

Your Logitech Tablet Keyboard is now connected.
