I have downloaded Thunderbird but it will not start as "the Profile is missing:. I just bought a new laptop, and I had someone recover the data from the old laptop, which was fried, and put on the new laptop.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your laptop, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: Lenovo, Think Pad, Windows 7
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: I have always used the laptop and Thunderbird.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have moved the Profiles from the old machine into Appdata/Thunderbird.
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Is there a difference between the previos version of Thunderbird, that was updated sometime this summer and the one that I have just down loaed today.
