I use outlook, my email has been through Verizon ,,, now AOL, Until today everything has worked, I changed settings earlier but today all stopped, what settings should I be using?
JA: How long has this been an issue?
Customer: Just started today, when things first changed there were problems but I thought I had it worked out
JA: How do you access your email most often? On a phone or tablet, or through a web browser?
Customer: Never phone, occasionally tablet almost always desktop
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Called Verizon they said call AOL they said either pay monthly or go to went there and found settings for imap (I have been using POP3 and my outlook doesn't allow change) imapm use port 143 or 993 (I tried both) Set SMTP to 587 (I did, it did not work.)
JA: Anything else you want the email expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No, It was working this morning but not this afternoon, My modem is working as I am in contact with you
