If your account has been TEMPORARILY locked, your only option is to wait for the lock to expire. That's Yahoo corporate policy, and they will not change it for you.

The good news is that the lock expires after twelve hours.

Supposedly, the password ***** tool MAY succeed in getting around things. Try this link. (Worse comes to worst, you'll have to wait twelve hours.)

All of this assumes that your report that the account is LOCKED is substantively and terminologically accurate.
