Ricoh GXe 7700N printer that will not power up. When I push the power button, the online light, power light, and alert light come on then go out after 2-3 seconds. The display never powers. Anything I can try?
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: just started.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: completely disconnected power and printer cable, reconnected, no change. Swapped to new ink trap. no change.

These lights typically are from a hardware error. The Ricoh documentation indicates that it may be a color PCU hardware issue. The drum may be clogged. I would take it to a local Ricoh service professional to run a diagnostic to make sure.
