Hello Annette, and thank you for using this service.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Please give me more details so I can help you.

1) What is the name of the website you are trying to confirm the code with?

2) Who is your email provider? This is the part of your email address AFTER the @ sign. Please tell me what that is.

If Facebook says it is sending a confirmation code, then it should be coming through, provided you have given facebook the correct email address.

If you are sure facebook has the right address, please try checking in your spam folders and searching your gmail account.

First, if you login to your gmail at from a PC or MAC (NOT a phone or other device) you will see a search bar at the top of your email. Type facebook in the search bar, and press enter or click the button to search. This may bring up the email you are looking for. If not, look on the left side of the screen at the list of email folders. Scroll down and click "more" if necessary to spot your SPAM folder. Click into it, and see if the facebook message is in there.

If you can't find the message this way, then facebook has a different email address tied to your account, and you'll have to go through a different recovery process.
